Under the Ye Olde Oak label, Struik Foods supplies a large assortment of hotdogs, cold meats and ready meals to the United Kingdom and other European countries.
In 1949, the firm of Rowland Smith & Son, managed by Messrs. R.W. Smith and R.R. Smith, imported various products into Great Britain under their brand Ye Olde Oak. After years of rationing during World War II, the people started to desire quality and new ideas for meals again. The reputation of Ye Olde Oak grew fast and it became synonymous with products of consistently high quality.
Ye Olde Oak is a major player in the market. Under the same inspiring leadership as that of his predecessors, from the end of the 1950s, Mr. John Baker raised the level of the brand name Ye Olde Oak to an increasingly higher level.
At the beginning of the 1960s, Ye Olde Oak was the largest brand in Great Britain. This was due to the big success of the remarkable pear-formed ham. In this period, Ye Olde Oak was prominent in consumer advertising in Great Britain. Ye Olde Oak invested considerably in publicity and was the first food product company to use radio and television advertising. It was also among the first brands that manifested itself with a great illuminated advertisement at Piccadilly Circus in London.
In 1985, the Ye Olde Oak brand name became the company name. Production and distribution to the United Kingdom and the export markets still takes place under this label. To this very day, the company is a market leader and is continuously looking for possibilities of further growth in existing and new markets.

Hotdogs
Ye Olde Oak hotdogs are tasty firm, low-fat sausages, prepared in accordance with a unique and traditional recipe. The hotdogs are available in various kinds,for example our Fiery Chilli Dogs, our spiciest hot dog ever! Delicious at lunch, as a bite to eat or as a snack with a drink. Also available are the chilled Frankfurters, delicately smoked and contain no artificial flavours or genetically modified ingredients.

Cold meats
Ye Olde Oak produce a wide range of quality tinned meats including low-fat hams, chicken and turkey products. Since the 1960s, Ye Olde Oak has been a household word in the UK and the products have been a welcome guest in every English kitchen. Our hams are delicious as part of the meal, for example diced through macaroni or spaghetti or as a first course, sliced thin around a piece of melon. Tasty and healthy! Recently our range has been completed with two corned beef products.

Ready Meals 
The Meals of Ye Olde Oak are delicious and ready in no time. Combined with rice or noodles the make a complete meal. The ready meals are available in various variants, there's something for everybody's taste: Mild Chicken Curry with coconut and unions, Hot Chicken Curry, Beef Bolognese with juicy minced beef, Chili Con Carne with red kidney beans and tender Chicken in White Sauce.
